A dedicated and results-driven Life Sciences graduate with a BSc in Life Sciences, majoring in Biochemistry and Physiology (Graduated in 2022). Currently pursuing an Honors degree in Biochemistry at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University, with expected graduation in May 2024. This academic journey has facilitated the development of a strong foundation in biochemistry, molecular biology, advanced protein chemistry, medical biochemistry, and physiology, alongside hands-on experience in laboratory research and data analysis.
Undergraduate studies provided in-depth knowledge of key biochemical processes, cellular mechanisms, and the physiological basis of human health. Research skills have been further refined during the Honors year, with opportunities to design and conduct experiments, analyze complex datasets, and contribute to ongoing biochemistry projects. Proficiency has been gained in a range of laboratory techniques, including protein analysis, cell culture, molecular biology methods, and various bioinformatics tools, preparing for diverse research challenges.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills enable the application of scientific expertise in professional settings. Academic experience, paired with the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, positions well for a career in research, biotechnology, or related fields.
