I'm looking to start gym again and I play football accasionally
I did my internship in the free state, so I am also fluent in Sesotho as well. I enjoyed the time and culture there. I did my community service in Glen Grey (Ladyfrere) and I served well there. After my community service, I came straight to Dora Nginza Hospital, I was a medical officer at first. I then received a registrar post, a post that enabled me to expand my knowledge beyond my imagination. During this time, I also rotated in Red Cross children's hospital in Cape Town, mainly rotating through subspecialties that we don't have at Dora Nginza Hospital. I also was tasked with supervising and teaching medical students and medical interns, a job I enjoyed as it is sharing of knowledge. Moreover, I got to interact with other personnel in the hospital environment and it was a good experience. I am looking for a junior consultant post as I have finished my fellowship and waiting to finish my Mmed.
At the moment I am a medical registrar at Dora Nginza Hospital. I have recently completed my fellowship in the college of pediatricians at CMSA. I am now busy with Mmed through WSU.
Before becoming a registrar here in 2017, i was a medical officer from June 2015.
My work required me to supervise and teach both medical students and medical interns.
I also had to manage a ward I was assigned to at a particular time and this built reinforced leadership skills in me in a way of problem solving and creating a healthy environment for immediate colleagues.
My stay at Dota Nginza has given me experience in NICU and PICU patients management, general Paediatrics and subspecialty experience as well (e.g Cardiology, neonatology, genetics and neurobehavioural Paediatrics, to name but a few).
