Manage all construction work on site including ensuring that there is compliance to health and safety

• Development of QA plan, implementation and compliance monitoring thereof
• Work Procurement - Tendering / Pricing of work
• Planning, coordinating and supervising general operations on site, including labour, plant, materials and subcontractor components
• Quantities Measurement and Monthly Certification of work
• Manage procurements of materials on site
• Monitor work progress and work towards eliminating any delays to projects.
• Communicate and liaise with clients and suppliers on behalf of Leomat Construction company
• Supervise team of 22 construction workers to maintain productivity and quality of work.
• Ensure that all teams on site are competent on work they are doing

• · Doing site daily diary, this involves having to be on site every day and being alert on every task that is done on each and every section of the site, taking rain gauges (during rainy days), knowing the number of workers on site, skilled and non-skilled and recording days where the workers worked overtime and reasons for working overtime.
• Working with the site agent to make bill of quantities for extra work that is given to the contractor by the client but was not included on the tender stage
• · Reading the drawings and making a list of all the materials that will be required on site, such as measuring the length of pipes from the drawings and recording their specific diameter and checking on the drawing notes what type of material is the pipe made up of.
• · Calling different suppliers to get quotes for the materials that will be used on site. The quotes were then compared based on price, quality and whether they met the standards specified by the engineer.
