WELLNESS LEADER

RHODES UNIVERSITY COUNSELLING CENTRE
GRAHAMSTOWN
02.2021 - 11.2021

I participated in various campaigns to promote and assist the Rhodes University student body with five aspects of wellness (Physical, social, mental, spiritual, and emotional). I was part of a physical wellness promotion campaign. We organised a walk for the students, and we posted about the importance of maintaining physical health and how to do it on the programme’s social media platforms. I was also part of a suicide awareness campaign where we handed out ribbons to raise awareness. The last one was a mental health awareness campaign, where we invited the students to come and journal their thoughts with us. This was a way to encourage students to do that every day.
