- Conduct daily plant route inspection, pay attention to details, login SAP notification according to the nature of defects
- Plan for all maintenance, arrange with operation, plant outages, opportunities for maintenance
- Maintenance to all UPS's (Riellor) systems in the plant, interpreted all generated alarms on SCADA and action accordingly
- Configuration of all 550V and 3.3kV motor protection relays in the plant, keep parameter files for back ups
- Single line diagram update, substation maintenance, housekeeping according to the standard
- Ensures all maintenance is according to the regulation and relevant electrical standard, all administrative signage, locking of door to prohibits unauthorized entry, filling up Sub register all the time for activities in the Sub
- Repairs to lighting work in the Electrical substation
- Responsible for diversified trip voltage, UPS maintenance work in the plant.
- Responsible for 2 lift elevators in the plant ,vendor is Ottis Durban
- Responsile for diesel back up 400 ,200MVA generators in the plant
