  • Conlog 2023: Cost Savings initiative of R1.9m per annum by sourcing alternate suppliers as well process and cycle time improvement.
  • Nampak Rigids (2021): Decided on my own to do a customer recon which identified numerous months where invoicing was not done for scrap collected amounting to R1.6m Implemented a procedure to rectify errors /non-conformance to company policy on Works Order Completions as well as improve stock record accuracy from 35% to 90% in 1 month.
  • Nampak Divfood (2020): Initiated a project to allocate stock related adjustment to correct accounts whereas before all transactions were posting into default account and needed to reallocate at the end of the month – a process that would normally take a whole day is now automated. Project member as a finance lead: SharePoint and automation of Stock Recons. Assist in reducing stock take variances by implementing controls in the flow of inventory and ensuring compliance in company policy and processes.
  • Aspen Pharmacare (2017): Assist in reducing stock take variances by implementing controls in the flow of inventory and ensuring compliance in company policy and processes.
  • NCS Resins (2018): Designed a template to calculate price variances. This template was formulated making it easy to analyse, understand price variances, and prevent them from occurring in future similar transactions. The entire process was semi-automated and only required five mins to prepare compared to almost half a day it used to take.
  • Media 24 (2014): Designed a template to control overtime. All necessary approvals were done in that template, and it was stored in SharePoint. This resulted in strict control of overtime as overtime was approved by line mangers, Branch manager, National Manager. Overtime reduced by +- R0.5m monthly- R6.0m annual savings.
  • Cyclocor KZN (2012): Finance business partner in the project team that implemented the costing system, manufacturing process and Pastel ERP. Started as a Cost & Management Accountant and was promoted to Production Manager and later promoted to Factory Manager. Successfully led the project to set up a new factory in Ladysmith due to expansion.
