  • Negotiate bulk contracts by outsourcing supply to larger mills in Pakistan, India and China
  • Implement a multi currency costing methodology that was used across the group to procure at a contractual level, as well as managing the forex requirements for importing
  • Coached the merchandise teams on INCOTerms and changing the way replenishment and allocations were to be done.
  • Implemented the outsourcing of a multinational quality management company to check and approve quality of products bought from the East.
  • Set up consolidation centres in Hong Kong to decrease international shipping costs by 16%
  • Successfully negotiated distribution and warehouse contracts and rates in Australia to increase store growth in the region
  • Implemented “fast fashion” model in South Africa for Miladys division that increased the replenishment model by 60%. This model was later adopted by all divisions in the Group.
  • Changed methodology of a supply grading tool, that was later implemented into the groups ERP system. The tool categorized suppliers based on risk by accurately measuring OTIF.
