  • Management and running of the complete operation Inbound/Outbound for the Distribution Centre SA which was split into 3 environments (Mining, Compressor and Construction division)
  • Part of the safety committee and a fair knowledge of ISO 9000/14000 (EMS) & OSHA.
  • Responsible for SKU/Inventory to the value +- R600 million with +-22 000.00-line items.
  • Managed +- 42 Warehouse Staff which included supervisors, material handlers, office staff and cleaners.
  • Oversee maintenance of the Distribution Centre which included the handling equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers and hubtecs), maintenance of the racking & shelving and maintenance of the building.
  • Implementation of daily morning talks with the warehouse staff which covered daily performance Inbound/Outbound, Safety, 5s (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain), operational issues/problems, companies Vision and Mission and Training needs.
  • Part of the committee with the implementation of the Warehouse Management System (RF Pathways), which included the training of staff on how to use scanners from receiving, locating/relocating of stock, picking, updating the system, aligning stock with old system, loading of serial numbers for high category sku’s/inventory, and maintenance of the system.

  • Ordering of PPE’s, tools, stationery, and packaging material.
