- Ensured the effective optimisation of inventory to reduce wastage, material loss and damage at the Base Metals Refinery by streamlining the amount of inventory holding.

- In this role I enforced the adherence to management standards, policies and procedures, and planning for the return of defective materials including the closing and resolving end user queries on GWB (query System) and investigations.
- I was also responsible for the daily and weekly priority reporting on Supply Chain KPI’s, compilation of month end reports in regular consultation with end users as well as managing service level agreements with suppliers & customers.
- Managed a team of 6 staff members overseeing scheduling, performance and daily receiving operations.

- During my stint as Supply Chain Supervisor, I acted as the Supply Chain Officer between June and October 2020. During this period, I coordinated the logistics for inbound and outbound distribution while overseeing the processing of special orders for customers and resolving end-user queries.
- This was an exciting and challenging period in my career when I got exposure into a significant leadership role with six direct reports from across the satellite HOP Stores including Warehouse Controllers.
- I developed and enforced the implementation of management standards, policies and procedures, while co-ordinating the work of Warehouse Controllers in the different HOP Stores.
