Duties:

• Data Engineering: Utilizing a combination of SQL and Python techniques to extract, clean, and prepare data for analysis.
• Interactive Dashboard Creation: Developing interactive dashboards using Power BI to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify crucial metrics, and pinpoint areas in need of improvement.
• Predictive, Classification, and Regression Modeling: Employing various machine learning techniques, employing Random Forest Regressor, soft and hard clustering, linear and non-linear regression, FB Prophet, Neural networks, and ARMA, for profit forecasting, customer churn prediction, asset profiling, and asset class performance analysis.
• In-House Software Development: Designing proprietary software to manage assets, track investments, run live parallel to the company's bank accounts, and generate performance reports.
• Investor Relations: Establishing and maintaining effective communication with investors to ensure their financial needs are met, including providing monthly reports.
• Capital Raising: Securing funding (draw down facilities and credit revolving facilities), setting up SPVs, determining achievable and fair covenants. Successfully raising R65 million in capital in a personal capacity.
• Risk Analysis: Conducting risk analysis to assess potential risks and vulnerabilities within the company's operations.

My Duties were:

• Transformed raw data to conform to assumptions of machine learning algorithm.
• Implement machine learning algorithms to assist in the eCommerce space; forecasting inventory levels, recommendation systems, product and customer similarity models.
• Created customized applications to make critical predictions, automate reasoning and decisions and calculate optimization algorithms.
• Leveraged artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms for standalone products and enhanced existing product offerings.
