Electric machinery - My first interest was mechanical engineering solely because I enjoy working with machinery, specifically automobiles and with the current advance in electric vehicles, my interest in motors, electrical drives and other such technology has peaked my interest
Power electronics - I enjoy learning about power electronics and high frequency systems and a thorough fundamental theoretical understanding of it, despite lacking practical experience
PV systems - As PV systems are becoming increasingly popular, there are more opportunities to learn about it and work with it I lack the practical knowledge as I have only worked with solar panels once as part of a research module, but if given the chance would like to learn more about it
Automation - Control systems as a whole is a very interesting field and is used in a wide variety of applications, but automation stands out in its application since most plants are becoming fully automated
