Accomplishments

  • Lead the due diligence in the successful sale of TMT to minority shareholder.
  • Lead the successful re-organisation of the region’s company structure thereby increasing the BBBEE rating of the company which also provided competitor advantage.
  • Successfully managed and drove within the Africa Region cost savings measures to achieve regional targets.
  • Subsequent to SNG merger the firm, SNG, embarked on a values drive. I voluntarily took on the role of driving the change within the Western Cape Region and designed various workshops and monthly prize giving motivations in order to inculcate the change in behaviours.
  • I implemented the back to basic drive-in order to change behaviours and further strengthen the values. This resulted in positive behavioural changes and buy in from employees which eased change management within our region.
  • The merger further identified that our region lacked the role of a Corporate Governance Service division. In response to this need, I was required to prepare and implement a strategy for “go-to-market” of the CGS division within the Western Cape Region.
  • I established the division in our region with little resources and was able to grow the division and service our clients with positive growth and feedback.
  • Two years into the merger, the firm embarked on a National Strategy focusing on the growth cluster. I took the responsibility of the robust drive of the understanding of the market and the strategy within the Region and thereby ensuring the design and implementation thereof.
  • During 2014 I identified the need for a more co-ordinated role of an Advisory Director in order to respond to the needs of the market for the other advisory services we offered as well as aligning to our “Trusted Business Advisor (TBA)” strategic model. With the assistance of the National Business Unit Heads of the various services, I have implemented a change in our Regional business model and have taken responsibility for the co-ordination of these service lines.
