Joshco Selkirk Sewer Upgrade, Randburg (Ongoing)

• Prepared and submitted wayleave applications and assisted the EIA Consultant with method statements and river crossing details for the Water Use License application.
• Conducted sewer demand calculations for a 2 km bulk sewer line from Selkirk Avenue through Randburg Taxi Rank to Bordeaux, crossing the Braamfontein Spruit, ensuring accurate capacity planning in line with Joburg Water, Redbook, and SANS guidelines, and analyzed the network using SSA, Excel, hand calculations, and Civil 3D with the Manning equation.
• Drafted a detailed design report, including design drawings, and submitted it to Joburg Water for review and approval. Drafted Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for supplementary land surveyor services, including adjudication scoring and appointment recommendation letters.

UJ Island, Midvaal (Ongoing)

• Compiled a Stage 2 report, developed roadway and parking concept designs, and designed a rainwater harvesting treatment plant along with a conservancy tank.

Mintek Fuel, Randburg (Ongoing)

• Prepared Stage 3 designs, using EPANET to design and analyze domestic water and fire reticulation systems for a high-risk catalyst facility, in compliance with Joburg Water standard guidelines.
• Designed a sewer reticulation network, compiled the Stage 3 report, and prepared Stage 4 specifications documentation in accordance with SANS 2100 & 1200.

TUT Condition Assessment, Pretoria (Ongoing)

• Conducted a condition assessment of stormwater ponding at the Pretoria Main Campus and designed new grid inlets and catchpits to improve water management.
• Developed tender specifications documentation, including details, long sections, and layout drawings, in compliance with City of Tshwane standards.

Safair Solar, Kempton Park

• Conducted site inspections for asphalt layering.
• Prepared Close-Out Reports and Snag Lists.

Joshco Phase 1, Randburg (Ongoing)

• Designed a platform and bulk earthworks for a temporary parking lot and a 3-storey building; used EPANET and Civil 3d to design and analyze water and sewer systems for 562 low-income residential units.
• Developed storm water management with four retention ponds using SSA software; and created a road layout with a minibus layby.

• Inspected deteriorating road and drainage infrastructure, compiled maintenance reports, prepared Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
• Developed pavement layer works specifications, and created road layout plan drawings.
