Managing warehouse staff, which includes ensuring that they are working safely.
Duties include:

- ensuring that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met.
- administering stock control.
- investigating and troubleshooting problems.
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Plan work rotas and assign tasks appropriately
- Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
- Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.

- Developing and implementing policy and procedure updates to improve workflow and productivity.
- Offering expertise in inventory management and current stock levels to internal teams and customers to facilitate accuracy and product availability.
- Redesigning warehouse layout to accommodate new equipment, maximize space utilization, and optimize processes.
- Evaluating supplies and product inventory to check for quality and quantity issues and returned unacceptable materials to vendors.
- Completing timely and accurate daily logs to keep internal reporting accurate and track materials movements.
