Summary

Visual arts professional with proven record of creating compelling and visually stunning artwork, best known for achieving impactful results through innovative design and artistic prowess (Current MAVA student).

Navigating the rich artistic landscape of Johannesburg, with my roots grounded in the vibrant soil of Limpopo's Thohoyandou, and of Venda origins, my work explores the concept of materiality and trauma externalization. This is driven by the belief that materials are not inert objects waiting to be shaped; they are dynamic agents that actively participate in the creative process. I believe that the relationship between the maker and the material is reciprocal—one in which both entities influence and transform each other, and this exploration of material engagement is reflected in my artworks. My creative process involves experimenting with various materials and sculptural techniques, seeking to push the boundaries of traditional sculptural methods and giving form to internalized emotions of trauma that words fail to capture.

Transitioning from creative environment, I bring strong visualization and design skills developed through practical applications. Effective at translating concepts into compelling visuals and proficient in industry-standard software. Seeking to leverage these abilities in new field to deliver impactful visual expression. Also Team-focused and adaptable with strong emphasis on collaboration and meeting evolving project needs. Organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.
