I enjoy the technical sales industry as I am familiar with all major products and processes in the manufacturing and mining environment. I build extensive knowledge of bearings and related product during my time working for Bearings International and follow-up companies. Being self-employed for the last six and a half year and working as a general manager on a production farm, helped me and increased my knowledge in the management of expenses as this is a direct influence to the profitability of any business. By keeping my business profitable in this time, I had to be responsible and thorough planning is an important key to the success of a business. With my background in mechanical engineering and fitting and turning experience, I am able to assist in hands-on maintenance and work to be done on site. My experience on repair of industrial gearboxes and pump opened up a new potential market and a high demand in used reconditioned pumps and plant equipment increase my sales. I started a new company named R & S Manufacturing that only specialise in the pump industry as I found that I Rhino Supplies sales was restricted by gaining access to the corporate industry and that it is only a reseller to the end user and my margins is limited as I am competing against all the big role players in the bearing industry. I am a hard worker with extended knowledge of bearings, transmission products, industrial gearboxes, electric motors and VSD drives. I am highly technical with a stable and sober family lifestyle and enjoy outdoor adventures. I will be a benefit to any business that have a good supply chain and product range, as I am loyal and honest to my employer and with the experience and responsibility running my own business, I do realise the importance of good planning and having the opportunity in working for a company by treating the set targets as the most important aspect. Working together with management, internal sales and delivery staff is from the highest importance, as this is the heart of the sales of any business.
