  • After been in the Oil game for 30 years, I was given an opportunity to start a cleaning company in the Durban area.
  • This offer was given to me by the owner of Cleanforce, a person I knew for the last 10 years in the oil game.
  • After resigning from Indy Oil in 2010, Cleanforce required some special white oils in Durban and as I knew the protocols and procedures assisted in obtaining the required white oils.
  • The owner came down to Durban to attend a Site Meeting as Cleanforce had the cleaning contract at a major new shopping centre in Westville. THe Saxon Mall.
  • The Developers insisted that he has a manager permanently on site and as I had just resigned he asked if I could help him out for 3 months.
  • This was the apprenticeship I had in cleaning of natural stone and this progressed to the restoration of Natural Stone.
  • Over the years the company has grown into a leader in the restoration of natural stone in KZN.
  • Three of the staff that started with me in 2010 is still employed and have grown our skills level together.
  • The following are major buildings and hotels that we have had as customers.
  • The Durban Magistrate's court Sometseu Road . Removed and replaced 510 slabs on the building, restored over 10000 holes and cracks, on both internal and external parts of the building. 3 year contract.
  • The Durban High Court.

  • The Holiday Inn Beach Front, Royal Hotel, Balmoral Hotel, Elangeni Hotel, Oyster Box, Beverly Hills Hotel, Royal Palm Hotel, Marine Garden Court. Edward Hotel, Blue Waters,Regal Inn, Breakers
  • Have worked on national projects in Cape Town, Kimberly, Pretoria, Gauteng, PE and Bloemfontein
  • The Kruger Park Game reserve, Hluhluwe Game Reserve.
  • Major Estates, Zimbali, Zimbali Lakes, Seaton, Cotswold, Mount Edgecomb, San Lamer, Simbithi, Brentwood, Plantations.
  • AT all these major projects and estates I have had to ensure that we followed the Rules of the Estate, National Building Regulations, Environmental Control and Health and Safety. I am proud that I have never been fined or given warnings for breaking the rules.

  • Started as a Representative for the West Rand Area
  • 1986 got Married and was transferred to Castrol Cape Town as a Sales Representative.
  • Transferred Back to Johannesburg Head office in 2001
  • Held the following positions in Cape Town.
  • Sales Manager, New Account Development Manager, Technical Manager Cape Region, Cape Town Branch Manager and finally as Cape Regional Manager for Sales and Warehousing.
  • I managed 3 major depots Cape Town, PE and East London and 27 regional depots. 3 Sales Managers and 8 Sales Reps, Accounts divisions and Creditors. Stock counts and Forecasting
  • When BP bought out Castrol Globally I was transferred back to Johannesburg as National Development Manager Industrial Division.
  • Was appointed as one of two people to attended a 6 week Castrol/ BP Global Change Management Course in the United Kingdom. We were tasked to assist staff that would have trouble accepting Castrols transition into BP.
  • Forecasting and Blending Schedule for all Castrol and BP Lubricants manufactured at Blendcor Durban.
  • All These positions I had to ensure I was
  • Self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal responsibility.

  • The following was a very important part of my life for 30 Years. and taught me the importance about implementing the rules and regulations that control the sport or event.
  • Between playing and coaching hockey, I got involved with my kids swimming,
  • Started In Gauteng were I held the positions of Official and Swim Board Member.
  • Moved to Durban and became Swim Board Convenor for 20 years.
  • Contributed to community outreach initiatives by involving local schools, clubs, or organizations in tournament activities to increase participation rates.
  • Implemented innovative ideas that enhanced spectator engagement during competitions.
  • Enhanced tournament experience by efficiently managing event logistics and coordinating staff.
  • Spearheaded volunteer recruitment efforts by establishing partnerships with local institutions or groups.

  • 6 x Level 3 Nationals This is the biggest swimming event in Africa and will be rated in the top 10 in the world. Over 900 swimmers and 200 Officials, The biggest was in 2014 with 1380 swimmers.
  • I was also the Tournament Director for The Commonwealth Life Saving, that included Surf, Still Water and Pool. 16 Different Countries Participated.
  • Continuously updated knowledge on industry trends by attending relevant conferences or workshops.
