Robert was a key member of the product team responsible for managing a
diverse portfolio of clients. His role involved reviewing product Business
Requirement Documents (BRDs) and configuring systems to meet client needs
using MS SQL, VB.Net, Exergy (Alula's insurance system), and the client's
specific product offerings.

Operating within an agile environment, Robert successfully delivered projects
for high-profile clients including Hollard, Metropolitan, and King Price, as well
as Metropolitan Ghana and Metropolitan Namibia. A standout contribution
was his leadership in the Unit Investment Product project, where he was one
of two leads. In this role, Robert ensured the accuracy of investment product
calculations throughout the product lifecycle—from new business to claims.
This required making adjustments to existing product configurations and
applying new configurations using MS SQL and VB.Net. The result was accurate
benefit calculations and policy event compliance with business rules. This
year-long project involved continuous client engagement and milestone
tracking.

His responsibilities also extended to collaborating with client system support
teams and actuaries, as well as creating detailed Business Requirement
Documents. Robert played an active role in thorough testing, including both
unit and hands-on testing, which greatly enriched his understanding of policy
lifecycles, policy movements, and the complexities of various insurance
products. He also managed day-to-day client logs, ensuring timely support
and issue resolution.

Everest is an accounting administration system used in the Employee benefits
industry. As a Systems Consultant, Robert has taken on a broad range of
responsibilities, from consulting with clients to ensuring accurate benefit
calculations in line with business rules. His work has spanned products such as
pension and provident funds, as well as various risk products, within a small to
medium-sized company that required him to wear multiple hats.

His role also involved leading on-site consultations and managing multiple
project initiatives. Robert leveraged his technical expertise to generate
detailed client reports using SQL, HTML, CSS, and Excel. Additionally, he

developed complex SQL stored procedures to handle intricate, calculation-
heavy data processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
