Hollywoodbets Horse Racing Oddsmaker, promoted to manage the InPlay Betting Department. Helped grow this department from infancy to the successful and highly profitable department it is today.
Position morphed into Head of Trading, managing a team of 30+ traders and support staff. Department responsible for all gambling products from PreMatch/InPlay to Casino/Gaming as well as a very revolutionary lotteries product which I helped manage.
Roles extended much further than the trading department, to include:
Overall business decision making and advising on new ventures;
Proxy between gambling entity and our Software Company (BET);
Managing the book and operations for other territories in Africa, UK, Europe and sourcing potential new jurisdictions;
Managing relations between Data and Third Party (casino, iGaming) suppliers and negotiating commercials and contracts;
Responsibility for the P&L/GGR of the whole Sportsbook;
Sourcing and working through the end-to-end journey from integrating new products to ongoing management;
Maximizing companies' brand by helping marketing with various campaigns and sponsorships;
Troubleshooting ongoing technical issues
Working closely with all Department Managers including Withdrawals/Deposits, Finance, Compliance, Software Development, Retail, Call-Centres, Helpdesk;
Responsible for assessing VIP clients activity and maintaining relations;
Assisting legal team on various matters including Gambling Board matters;
Advising and creating various AML/Compliance policies particularly for UK operations;
Dealing with and minimizing bonus abuse with different integrated tools;
Continuous updating/analysis of models and market offering for Prematch and Inplay.
Represented the company on many international trips for meetings/conferences and rewards for outstanding work.
