· Work hand in hand with the Company Compliance officer on the implementation of ISO Standards across all departments( ISO 9001 , 14001 and 45001)

· Develop Participation Process to ensure staff members are involved in determining the health, safety and environmental risks when the baseline risk/aspects assessments are determined.

· Develop information sheet to be shared amongst all employees on the implications of not conforming to ISO Management System Requirements

· Compile and maintain health and safety files and other relevant files for new sites.
· Conduct risk assessment for new sites and identify risk mitigation measures including advising on appropriete PPE.
· Conduct SHE committee meetings.
· Develop a monthly SHEQ communication strategy for all sites and levels of staff, to include written information , tool box talks and employee briefs.
· Investigate accidents and ensure all documentation is updated.
· Full responsibility for company preparations for annual SHEQ and ISO audits
· Supervise the regular inspection of fire fighting, safety and emergency response equipment at sites and office.
· Assist in development and implementation of emergency response procedures and evacuation plans at sites and offices. Ensure the plans are reviewed and updated regularly.
· Ensure the emergency plans are communicated to staff and visitors and update registers on training and induction.
· Ensure regular emergency response exercise and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency. Maintain records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements.
· Conduct sites audits and provide detailed report with findings. Identify non-conformities and provide corrective action measures to prevent re-occurrence.
· Monitor and review corrective measures that have been implemented
· Prepare weekly SHEQ reports
· Planning and coordinating SHEQ related training in liaison with the company HR Manager.
· Compile sites quarterly and weekly site audit plans.
· Arrange annual medical examination of staff and keep records of such information.
· Make legal appointments 16.2 appointments, PPE inspector appointments, Incident investigator appointment , Risk assessor appointments and hand tools inspector appointments.
· Conduct sorter training as and when requested by HR Manager
· Assist with induction and training of New FMs
· The responsibility of signing off the 37.2 indemnity legal documents.
· Develop a sampling plan
· Analyzing in process samples by doing the following tests
1. Brix determination
2. PH determination
3. Viscosity and
4. Organoleptic test
· Checking the cleanliness of the plant and filling equipment using swabs
· Analysis of swabs
· Prepare agar for micro testing
· Attending production and Haccp meetings
· Advising production manager of any non-conformances
· Working with production manager and food technologists on rectification of defective products
· Writing monthly reports
· Checking the packaging material to maintain high quality standard
