- ERA was constructed in 2014. What an honor to be chosen to be apart of this historical experience. Joined by my brother of almost 30years, we were tasked with fitting a multi million rand Funktion 1 sound system in two of the most perfectly acoustically treated rooms on this planet. Once fitted Mr Tony Andrews, owner and inventor of Funktion One, arrives and graces us with two incredibly weeks of knowledge and complete bliss, as we spent day in and day out eyes closed walking through the the club. Section by section, step by step, all completely delighted with joy and by request from the genius himself, i was one of two people allowed to run the system. So i was in action every single night the club was opened. I left in 2017 to further my learning of music culture around the World.

- During my studies at SAE Institute i was hired to set and run the best and biggest Funktion 1 system ever seen in South Africa.
- A three man team from the storage unit to the venue. Setup with a helper or two, then test the rig for a day or 2 or 3.
- Once doors opened our aim was to keep it sounding perfect throughout the event. Sometimes one day and sometimes 4.
- We even did 14 days in the desert at Afrikaburn, running non stop. Once all dancers have left we break down and take the system back to storage.
- We rigged small Rooftops of Dreams at the Radisson of about 500, then trance and commercial festival every other week and then we had 20 000 at Daisies, Synergy, Afrikaburn every year.
- Such an honor being able to provide the perfect sound for an event and then also an amazing blessing ,was being able to help and be apart of Bridges for Music. We had set up workshops and events in the township of Langa. With extremely famous and talented artists like Tale of Us, Stimming, Ralf Kollman, Fourtet, Octave One just to name a couple. There was a vast amount of knowledge being shared through talks, Q and A's and performances.
- Events we setup up and run Funktion 1 outdoor. Rocking the Daisies, Synergy Live, Switch On The Night, AfrikaBurn, Solstice, MCXP, Origin, Earthdance, Kinky Summer, Future Frequency, Resonance.
