Receive medical equipment (sterile / nonsterile) such as implants and instruments and understand instructions from the healthcare facility.

• Ensure that medical item/s are securely and hygienically stored in the delivery vehicle.
• Verify that the documentation corresponds to each item and that that all documentation is credible and accurate.
• Ensure the punctual collection and delivery of medical equipment from the healthcare facility and follow theatre delivery protocols.
• Confirm that recipients sign delivery receipts and designations are verified.
• When necessary, assemble and disassemble medical devices. ▪ Ensure the safety of each item delivered.
• Log distance and maintenance information on the company logbook.
• Accurately count and take inventory of medical items to be collected or delivered.
• Gain extensive experience in theatre protocols/CSSD and systems such as SAP and JDE.
