I'm currently a student at CTIA chef school Stellenbosch where I'm doing the NQF5 and diploma in patisserie. I graduated from Hoerskool Bultfontein in the Freestate November 2022. I'm a very hard working student in many fields- I've been in the top 3 academic achievers for the past 3 years of high school. I'm used to working in a team as well as leading one as I was the captain of the first team netball. I'm also used to pressure as I was deputy girl at school and prefect for the hostel, where I had many responsibilities and tasks that had to be done daily. such as being the secretary for the leadership team and our supervisor. I've always wanted to become a chef since I was five years old and till this day it remains my dream.
Helped chef Amelia with 'how to bake series', I had to prep and bake cookies and helped with the students and cleaning their equipment. I also helped with the incentive ceremony where we had to fry potatoes and meatballs and also had to help with plating the snacks.
In high school I shadowed at Olive Chef school in Bloemfontein for a day where I watched the students decorate a fruit cake.
As a student in high school I shadowed at Carmen's carries cookies for a day where I helped ice chocolate cakes for Checkers and folding individual cupcake boxes for a wedding.
Public speaking
undefinedI feel creative and express myself through baking and drawing, and just like drawing is baking a form of art, and us as chefs the artists. I like working in a team and being surrounded by people, In school I did netball, swimming and different forms athletics. I also like to be active and workout, it gives me more energy and keeps me healthy - physically and mentally.
