  • Drove the introduction of ESG reporting / sustainability reporting in the National Home Builders Registration Council in my capacity as the chairperson of the organisation’s Social, Ethics and Transformation Council Committee (“SETC”).
  • Established the EARTH Centre NPC’s inaugural Social & Ethics Committee.
  • Key role player in the conceptualisation and business case development of an Inland Minerals Terminal / Dry Port. The project was earmarked as a national strategic priority (catalytic) project by Infrastructure South Africa (ISA).
  • Spearheaded the move away from compliance-based regulation towards a risk/management-based safety regulatory approach for a national Safety Regulator and conducted an organisational skills gap analysis in this regard.
  • Introduced quantitative risk analysis and reporting in safety performance reporting as a means to evaluate the impacts of safety regulation and authored the Railway safety Regulator's 2017/18 Annual State of Safety Report.
  • Conceptualised, researched, and designed a Framework for Collaborative Partnerships/Networks to cultivate social and human capital in risk-based railway safety management and regulation.
  • Systematised organisational performance management with the aid of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) approach.
