I am responsible for:

• Delivery of comprehensive daily profit and loss reports of the cross-border fleet (106 trucks).

• Insuring that all loads are invoiced and intergraded into Sage/Pastel accounting.
• Weekly age analysis reports, managing difficult clients, following up on delayed payments while ensuring client satisfaction in the accounts department.
• Credit applications for both debtors and creditors.
• Finding and implementing stringent cost cutting measures in various operations departments.

After starting at Premier I was placed in the Cross-border division as being the connecting link between the operations department and finance team after various miscommunications between the two.

I was responsible for:

• Ensuring that all POD's are collected, checked and passed on to finance.
• Tracing and requesting missing documentation from clients/ delivery points or Border posts.
• Ensuring that all completed loads are invoiced at the correct rates before monthly/weekly cut off times.
• Checking all expense slips/reports from drivers while ensuring that all cross- border permits are valid and in place.
• Daily data capturing of all loads via DataTim and Soloplan.
• Opening and closing of all client trip reports and tracking.
• Dispatching trip cash and Inter-Africa cash orders.

Started in Eastrand Enterprises as a general worker doing grunt work and daily admin tasks before being appointed to floor manager overseeing 27 general factory employees while:
