I am a goal-oriented and diligent higher-education professional with a Master’s and Honours degree in Sociology, supported by a Bachelor of Humanities with majors in Psychology, Sociology, and Applied English. My academic background has equipped me with strong analytical, research, and communication skills, while my diverse work experience has cultivated my ability to manage teams, support students, maintain administrative systems, and build effective relationships with senior staff, colleagues, clients, and students.
In my academic roles, I have provided comprehensive learning and teaching support across multiple Social Science as well as Research modules, drawing on my disciplinary expertise to help students develop a deeper understanding of key concepts and methodologies. I have managed online learning platforms, created engaging teaching and learning activities, and contributed to the coordination of course delivery to ensure that instructional materials, assessments, and feedback are accessible, well structured, and aligned with learning outcomes.
Additionally, I have developed assessments across the Social Science and Human Resource Management department at Boston City Campus and contributed specialised teaching and assessment design within the courses in which I serve as a guest lecturer at Stellenbosch University. My past work responsibilities have also included advising tutors and students, supporting lecturers in course preparation, and maintaining effective academic communication and guidance throughout each module.
I am passionate about teaching, research, and the broader field of Social Sciences. I aim to integrate these passions to facilitate meaningful, inclusive, and transformative learning experiences for the students I teach and support.
