During this stint I was working with the Speciality & Impulse team specifically working on the following accounts;Forecourts and Forecourts Distributors,Woolworths, Food Lovers Market, PEP, Ackerman's, Dis-chem and Clicks.

Upon working on the above mentioned accounts I had the following responsibilities:

  • Assist the Key Account Manager in Developing & Execute annual plans to achieve business and customer objectives aligned to ICP.
  • Work cross functionally to identify, prioritize and develop commercial initiatives that meet needs of consumer, shopper, customer and Nestle.
  • Ensuring that plans are informed through an understanding of Shopper, Channel & Customer strategy.
  • Ensuring monthly deliverables are complied to - Forecasting, Outlook provision, etc.
  • Assist in Foster & nurture productive business relationship at the buyer level.
  • Assisted in Setting clear selling goals using SMART objectives for the selling agenda of any topic (e.g. category growth projects, pricing, promotion, placing initiatives, new product launches and in-store communication).
  • Ensuring alignment with CCSD & Field sales on the Execution of Annual customer plans.
  • Creating and effectively communicating actions for execution by defining clear ownership and deadlines for all involved - Picture of success and regular updates.
  • Ensuring that there are clear evaluations and follow-up plans before entering into execution with CDT Team and buyer.
  • Adhering to all Company principles and policies including Nestlé trade policy, local Sales policy, local Trade Trems, Safety and legal regulations.
  • Ensuring compliance to pricing strategies.

During this Stint I worked in the confectionary business unit specifically working with the Kit Kat & Bar0ne brand and the nutrition business unit specifically working on infant cereals.

During such time I took on the following responsibilities:

  • Assisted Commercial Development Team (CDT-Executive and CDT Manager) in implementing category growth vision based on customer, shopper and customer requirements.
  • Assisted the CDT Team in Facilitating and coordinating the Integrated Commercial Planning process within the Nutrition & Confectionary Business Unit.
  • Developed and maintained E-Commerce channel plans aligned with marketing and sales priorities and in line with target objectives.
  • Assisted Confectionary Business Unit in Facilitating the execution of in store vision of success for category in each channel whilst monitoring its implementation and continuously reviewing the effectiveness of in store actions.
  • Assisted Nutrition Business Unit in Facilitating commercial plan via he monthly business planning process (MBP).
