- Perform task observations, alcohol testing and train speed monitoring to ensure that drivers and guards comply with operating instructions, rules and regulations
- Approve notch increments (based on performance); attend to staff pay queries; monitor absenteeism and initiate inefficiency process for abusers
- Handle referrals to the company’s Employment Assistance Programme (EAP) that helps staff to deal with their life and work challenges
- Enforce discipline and initiate disciplinary action when required
- Conduct one to one meetings with panel members to identify problem areas and intervene where needed
- Deal with commuter complaints by following it up with the relevant personnel
- Contact the complainants to give them feedback regarding the problem
- Conduct incident investigations and compile relevant documentation
- Regularly conduct refresher training to reinforce performance areas of drivers and metro guards
