• Conducted water-monitoring tests in the Umzimvubu and Amathole upper river catchments using SASS and MiniSASS.
• Conducted environmental education in the Eastern Cape.

• Registered Fire Protection Associations (FPAs) in the Gauteng Province under the National Veld and Forest Fire Act, 1998.

• Conducted tree species identification on KZN state forests and reviewed species statuses using the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) 2007 standards.
• Designed and produced information brochures with hiking maps, general information, rules and regulations.
• Coordinated arbor week events in the Western Cape region.
