My name is Priyal Karson and I have five years of Business Analysis experience. I currently hold a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Information Systems from Rhodes University. I chose this path after graduating with an undergraduate degree majoring in Information Systems and Management. I have a passion for Information Systems and chose to pursue a career as a Business Analyst Consultant as I enjoy tackling problems and coming up with solutions that best suit the clients' needs.

- I was placed on a project for a Fin-Tech Client in an agile environment and had to do analysis on features/products that the company was looking to introduce to their existing platforms. I spent a year consulting for this client. As part of analysis on the client projects, I was required to design the front-end for two new features that would be introduced on their mobile platform and one web-based service. I conducted workshops to elicit requirements from stakeholders and then designed wireframes and prototypes on a tool named Balsamiq. I also supported with testing and go-live.
- I have been involved in other process analysis projects. This included as-is and to-be process mapping. I have helped create and implement various frameworks, such as a Strategic Portfolio Management Framework as part of a four month project in the Insurance industry. I was also the team-lead on a short two-week project for a client in the Financial Services industry.
- I have completed a year long leadership course with Lead Me and received a certification for this.

- I started a new position at a company that specialised in eCommerce, CRM, and other digital solutions.
- I joined a project to implement an SAP CRM system called Cloud For Customer.
- The project was a year long initiative where we spent six months on requirements gathering, system configuration, and integration with an SAP Commerce solution and a non-SAP ERP. After six months and a successful User Acceptance Testing, we were able to go live with excellent uptake from the Sales Rep users. We were heavily involved in training/upskilling workers to use the system and the change management around implementing the new system.
- I was also involved in the sales aspect, where we would present and demo the system to potential clients.

- I joined Analyze Consulting as a Junior Analyst and was promoted to an Analyst role the following year.
- I was involved in a few internal projects. Examples of these projects included creating data analysis guides, doing analysis for a new time capture system and creating POPI/ BBBEE compliance guides for the company to utilise on future projects.
- Client projects I worked on included implementation of POPI practices at a client within the Banking industry and process analysis involving process mapping, Standard Operating Procedure creation and to-be process analysis.
- I also attended Plain Language training, where I improved on my written and spoken communication skills and received a certification for this.
