Biography

I am a passionate person who has had an interest in a medical career from as long as I can remember. Having drawn inspiration from my mother who is also in the profession. I grew up in an environment that made my interest in medicine and the human nature flourish. I am a hard-working individual who is always looking to improve my capabilities. I am not afraid to put in the hours and the effort to make sure things are done effectively and efficiently. I often find myself in a position of leadership and tend to thrive to make sure everything I do is done to the best of my ability. I enjoy volunteering and helping in any opportunity that presents itself to me. I am willing to go the extra mile for those I know and those I don't, whether it be in my personal, educational or professional life. I have a keen interest in specializing further and bettering my skills. my interests outside of work lie in spending time with loved ones, giving back where I can to those in need and traveling both locally and internationally. Throughout my community service and internship years my love for dermatology, internal medicine and critical care has flourished. I wish to work in the dermatological field where I feel that I will excel in as I have a keen interest for medical conditions and how they affect the skin. I fully believe that the skin is more than skin deep.
