Assist with Public Service Act Personnel (PSAPS) staffing administration (HR Provisioning: Recruitment, Selection and Appointments):

  • Obtain job evaluation results and financial authority for the post to be advertised.
  • Prepare a job advert and submit it to the Directorate Career Management (DCM) to be placed in the DOD and broader Public Service.
  • Administer applications (applications management).

  • Ensured that the required stationery stores are maintained and, where required, that demands for stationery are submitted timeously.
  • Ensured that claims on behalf of the Chief Director’s Entertainment Allowance are submitted to the Finance Division.
  • Ensured that all correspondence generated in the Chief Director`s office is correct, photocopied, dispatched timeously, and then filed in relevant files.

To manage the provision of a registry service to the Chief Director and Flag Staff.

  • Managed the receipt, distribution, and return of all files, documents, and correspondence using the prescribed Registry procedures.
  • Ensured that all correspondence addressed to the Chief Director is opened, sorted, and distributed to the PA, except Top-Secret documents and mail marked for the Chief Director's exclusive or personal attention.
