Accomplishments

  • Successfully managed for eight months ,all the Single Project(Construction) Liability claims and Employment Practice Liability (EPL) with no prior experience.
  • Reduced EPL legal fees by half by acquainting myself with Labour law regulations ,cases as well as the CCMA process and also helped develop strategies to streamline process of dealing with EPL claims.
  • Selected as the Training and Development Coordinator at SHA and facilitated training on pertinent legal and compliance issues affecting the adjustment of claims.
  • As the claims department Employment Practice Liability Specialist, I wrote an article on sexual harassment in the workplace titled "Why SA companies need to step up to the #MeToo plate" and it was published in FA News on 20 June 2018
