Overall Career Milestones at Momentum

• RPG Academy – Initiating and starting of the Academy for Momentum. The Academy is now also opened to external organizations where we charge a fee to train RPG Developers. Savings of 3.9 million by not replacing senior developers who resigned withing MMerge. +-800K received from external companies.
• ·MMerge Production CleanUp - Played a key role by initiating the project and driving the project with DevOps. IBMi Allocation costs reduced from 30% allocation for MMerge to +-4%. Savings of +-2.6 million per year.
• SMIPS – Moving off the old SMIPS menu and removing all object access. This will enable us to modernize on the IBMi. Leading this project across impacted business units in Momentum.
• ·Profound UI– Web enabled screens that are modern and user friendly. Easy conversion of IBMi green screens into Profound. More cost effective than Angular.
• IBMi Modernization Forum – Chairing of this forum that occurs every 2 months, Senior IBMi specialists as well as key Stakeholders meet to discuss projects, new tools, modernization projects that can assist us moving forward on the IBMi.
• Yearly IBMi Connect session – First connect session kicked off last year where the entire Momentum IBMi community and key stakeholders connected and collaborated.
• Women in Tech- Speaker at the event and contribute to women in Tech initiatives.
• IBMi Knowledge Sharing Webinars – Webinar is run by Roland Strauss and opened to the entire Momentum IBMi community and key Stakeholders.
• Documented Standards, Principles and Way of Work for developers – To ensure alignment and way of work amongst developers.
