Phumlani Mncwango is an experienced Online Publishing Systems Administrator at the South African Journal of Science (SAJS), a flagship journal of the Academy of Science of South Africa. With 14 months of experience in this role, Phumlani has taken full responsibility for managing the workflows of various submissions, including special issues such as Sustainable Science Engagement and Engaged Sustainability Science, and a discussion series titled Discussions on Service Delivery.

Event and Program Coordination: Organizing and promoting library events, such as reading groups, author talks, and educational workshops.
Information Literacy Training: Offering training to users on how to evaluate and use information critically, particularly in academic or public libraries.
Circulation Services: Managing the lending of library materials, including checking books in and out, renewing loans, and placing holds or reserves.
Archival and Preservation: Managing and preserving special collections, rare books, and historical documents, ensuring their longevity and accessibility.

I also like watching and playing sports like football, rugby and basketball. Other activities I like very much are Hiking and camping, enjoying the outdoors and all the actiities that come with it.
