• Introduce the VMMC programme to communities and conduct profiling by means of various sources
• Based on the results obtained from community profiling, allocate Social Mobilisers to various supported areas by means of GIS Mapping in order to ensure proper coverage of target/pivot populations
• Coordinate and supervise demand creation activities performed by Social Mobilisers within various Right to Care-supported areas
• Schedule demand creation activities (i.e
• Information sessions, talks, events, etc.) aimed at promoting VMMC in designated areas (i.e

• Create appropriate demand creation training plans based on training needs analyses
• Engage with clinical roving teams to create accurate and proper service delivery schedules
• Draft and submit weekly reports that outline activities completed and the number of leads
• Schedule and maintain a monthly calendar of VMMC outreach activities
• Submit weekly and monthly reports of the social mobilisers’ performance to the Demand Creation Coordinator
• Actively engage with community leaders and structures in communities surrounding VMMC facilities to promote VMMC services and to identify demand creation opportunities
• Actively seek out opportunities for Social Mobilisers to participate in events and collaborate with organisations, government and/or schools for VMMC service delivery
• Collaborate with local stakeholders (Community Based Organisations and other partners) to ensure proper coordination of social mobilisation campaigns
• Mentor Social Mobilisers by addressing their challenges and barriers that prohibit them from reaching their targets
• Conduct weekly performance reviews of targets reached by Social Mobilisers.

• Implement community engagement activities and community mobilisation strategies for different programmes at RTC
• Align Community Engagement, mobilisation and retention plans to the various district contexts as well as audience needs in a human centric design approach
• Develop recruitment plans and ensure that campaigns are aligned to various district contexts as well as audience needs in a human centric design approach
• Develop and implement an induction programme to the integration of behavioural change and context-specific approaches to biomedical applications
• A comprehensive understanding of all RTC programmes, its key personnel and focus areas to identify opportunities for an integrated approach to programme implementation
• Develop and implement, in collaboration with other technical specialist for integrated strategies to incorporate behaviour and social science in different RTC programmes
• Develop implementation models that address programmatic gaps across various partnerships
• Implement evidence-informed social science approaches to RTC programmes
• This includes the documentation of evidence and results for program interventions
• Assist with the development of an M&E platform to monitor and strengthen RTC's research department
• Develop a platform of innovation hunting that is easily accessible to all RTC programmes to share success stories and build a knowledge-centre on-demand creation successes and opportunities
• Contribute towards the development of new grant proposals and submissions
• Assist in building and managing an energetic and motivated team of reliable professionals who develop, pilot, experiment and report on Inter-disciplinary approaches to RTC programmes
• Manage, monitor and supervise all district staff
• Develop, manage, monitor and keep inventory for all demand creation assets, supplies, materials and equipment allocated to the district
• Conduct monthly ordering and printing of IEC materials, registers, pamphlets, posters and other consumables utilized for demand creation activities
• Offering constant feedback to staff and keeping everyone in sync
• Ensuring adequate staff performance
• Managing staff schedules and assigning individual responsibilities.

Stakeholder Management

• Establish strong working relationships with Department of Health, Traditional leaders and local community leaders to smoothen programmed implementation
• Attend key meetings and provide feedback sessions

Recruitment

• Identify daily sites for DSD field teams
• Facilitate and participate in community events to recruit clients for COVID Vaccinations
• Supervise and direct social mobilizer activities

Project Management

• Support implementation of DSD plan
• Lead DSD implementing teams field activities
• Communicate with RTC Senior management

Program Output

• Provide feedback to Senior Management on DSD activities
• Report weekly progress on all field activities to Senior management
• Assist DSD teams and partners with monitoring tools use

Staff Management

• Offers constant feedback to relevant DSD staff and keep everyone in sync
• Ensure adequate staff performance and keep staff morale high and taking steps to improve retention
• Managing staff schedules

Reporting

• Provide regular reporting on project activities to Senior management
• Ensure proper and accurate data management.

• Providing programmatic and administrative support and coordination of the prevention programmes between community structures and facilities
• Working within the core team to provide support and coordinate assigned program activities to be implemented from community to facility levels
• Participating in and implementing the analysis of bottlenecks and gaps early, for all prevention activities
• Implementing aligned tools to support the program
• Identifying support group facilitators, train, support to establish group mentors
• Supporting RTC teams in using agreed quality improvement approaches in improving clinical performance
• Supporting all DOH adherence strategies for HIV/TB including the adherence clubs and support groups collaboration with community structures such as WBOTs and CBOs
• Supporting and strengthening DoH community demand creation, Outreach, health promotion and campaigns etc
• Ensuring correct data collection, analysis and reporting of patients linking to the nearest facility
• Assist the data team in program planning, design, review, monitoring and evaluation including programmatic reporting
• Participate in district level internal RTC planning and monitoring activities to ensure prevention objectives are achieved.

• Spending a day in each CBO observing what they do and providing technical assistance for all activities
• Providing support to CBO staff and ensure that the MCHN-ECD messages that are given to the communities are correct and appropriate
• Facilitating linkages and supporting collaboration of funded CBOs with Ward Based Outreach teams
• Strengthening reporting abilities of CBOs and improve the quality of their reports
• Reviewing and verify CBO reports for completeness, accuracy and correctness
• Capturing monthly CBO data into the projects database
• Identifying CBO capacity building needs and facilitate the CBO capacity building
• Being part of the monthly CBO technical assistance and quarterly review
• Reporting to district project manager in writing.
