Philip Meyer

I was born on 1 July 1960 in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa where I attended primary school from 1967 to 1969.

We then moved to Lyttelton, Centurion where I continued primary school from 1970 to 1973 in Fleur Laerskool.

I then attended Hoёrskool Verwoerdburg to complete my high school education from 1974 to 1978 when I matriculated.

From January 1979 to December 1980 I completed my compulsory national service in the South African Air Force.

In September 1997 I came to faith in Christ and in June/July 1998 I participated in a short-term outreach to Russia with a group from the church I attended at the time. At that time I received a calling from God to serve Him in Russia.

In April 2003 I left for Russia and joined a church planting team in the city of Penza, some 650 km. east of Moscow.

In December 2004 I moved to Moscow and became a member of a church planting team in the southwest of the city. It was during this time, helping the ministry with their website, that I discovered my love for web design.

After returning to South Africa in May 2010 (with my Ukrainian wife whom I married in December 2006) I decided to develop my interest and proficiency in web design/development, a passion that became my career and that I've continued to develop to this present day.
