I am part of a multidisciplinary rehab team at ODI District Hospital.

  • Provide occupational therapy services primarily to pediatric patients presenting with conditions such as Developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE), and burn injuries.
  • Deliver rehabilitation and functional intervention for adult patients with diagnoses including stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), upper limb STIs, and burns.
  • Conduct assessments and interventions to enhance patients' functional independence and quality of life.
  • Assess, prescribe, and issue appropriate assistive devices, including wheelchairs and buggies, adhering to national guidelines and patient-specific functional needs.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care, and effective discharge planning.
  • Engage in health promotion and caregiver education on diagnosis, and give home program to support long-term outcomes for both pediatric and adult clients.
