I am part of a multidisciplinary rehab team at ODI District Hospital.

• Provide occupational therapy services primarily to pediatric patients presenting with conditions such as Developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE), and burn injuries.
• Deliver rehabilitation and functional intervention for adult patients with diagnoses including stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), upper limb STIs, and burns.
• Conduct assessments and interventions to enhance patients' functional independence and quality of life.
• Assess, prescribe, and issue appropriate assistive devices, including wheelchairs and buggies, adhering to national guidelines and patient-specific functional needs.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care, and effective discharge planning.
• Engage in health promotion and caregiver education on diagnosis, and give home program to support long-term outcomes for both pediatric and adult clients.

• -Provided assistance to gym members, ensuring a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for individuals of all abilities.
• - Orientated visually impaired members to the gym layout, equipment, and safety procedures, fostering confidence and independence in their workout routines.
• - Developed and implemented specialized training programs tailored to the needs of visually impaired members, ensuring accessibility in all fitness activities.
• - Collaborated with gym staff to create an inclusive environment by identifying and addressing barriers to accessibility, enhancing the overall gym experience for all members.
• - Educated staff and members on best practices for inclusivity and support, promoting awareness and understanding of diverse needs within the gym community.
• -Admin in the office: signing members up for the gym, activating student cards and deleting contracts once expired.
• -Ensuring all the members are safe while training and assisting member with correct form to avoid injuries.

• -Leading Orientation Activities: Organizing and facilitating group activities that fostered connections among students and introduced them to university culture.
• - Providing Support and Guidance: Being available to answer questions and address concerns that new students had about university life, ensuring they felt welcomed and supported.
• -Sharing Resources: Informing students about academic resources, student organizations, and wellness services that could aid their transition.
• -Building a Sense of Community: Encouraging students to participate in campus events and connect with peers, helping them to build friendships and networks.
• Even after orientation, you continued to support students by:
• -Ongoing Availability: Serving as a trusted resource whom students could reach out to with questions or challenges they faced in their first semester.
• -Promoting Engagement: Encouraging students to engage with campus life, ensuring they felt a continuous sense of belonging and support as they transitioned from high school to university.
• During COVID-19 outbreak had to adapt together with the University and gave orientation online with the first year students in 2021.
