Duties Performed;
• Process application for state guarantee
• Issue state guarantee and monitor redemption period
• Process application for housing allowance
• Gather and check relevant documentation i.e. rental agreements, title deeds etc
• Terminate housing allowances when necessary
• Ensure correct leave accrual captured on PERSAL for new appointments
• Check PERSAL transactions and process applications for annual, family responsibity, maternity, sick and special leave
• Check calculation of leave credits
• Check calculation of leave gratuities
• Calculate debt for leave without pay (LWOP)
• Ensure the correct completion of SPMS forms.
• Ensure that prescribed interviews take place
• Ensure that all bonus on PERSAL are captured after final received from District Office
• Administer overtime
• Administer relevant allowances
• Administer injuries on duty
• Administer service confirmation
• Administer long service awards
• Issue long service certificates
• Administer motor financing scheme
• Administer remunerative work outside the public service
• Administer service bonus and miscellaneous matters
• Administer relocation costs
• Administration of old unemployment insurance cards
• Responsible to ensure that all overtime claims are authorized and sent to HR Component timeously
• Responsible for monitoring that line managers submit leave forms (i.e annual, sick, FRL, special etc) – and relevant documentation to the HR Component
• Responsible to ensure that officers whose sick leave has expired complete their PILIR applications within prescribed timeframes
• Ensure that the officers working office hours sign the attendance register and monitor on a regular basis
• Attendance of monthly admin
Meetings
• Ensure monthly meetings with personnel
• Inspection of office inventories and access and report faulty equipment
• Compile termination of service letters
• Terminate service on PERSAL
• Prepare service termination documents
• Calculate benefit at the termination of service
• Calculate benefit at resignation age
• Transferable from temporary pension fund to permanent pension fund
• Complete service certificate
• Complete UIF card
• Issue clearing certificates
• Inform medical aid of service termination
• Develop and maintain accurate job descriptions
• Implement and monitor the performance evaluation document (SPMS)
