I have been working in the hospitality service industry on and off since I was 14 till 21. I also spent 2 years working as an admin clerk at a labor broker. I spent 3 months working on Yachts in the Mediterranean before returning to South Africa due to an expired visa . After a short stay at The Unlimited as a telesales agent, I moved to Aramex to work as a Zone Controller/Night Shift supervisor in 2015
At the end of 2016 I moved to the international department as an Export controller.
After my role as an export controller in Cape Town I was offered the position of exports manager in Johannesburg and have been in this role since June 2019 and oversee a team of 14 people including the Aramex Global Shopper function

Monitoring all incoming cargo and accurately communicating this information through to day shift.
Managing/supervising a work force of 5 staff members on night shift.

My duties involved working with a partner in order to make certain that employees were paid on time and the right amount, including overtime and double time. I was in charge of Paid and sick leave, and making sure the leave was paid out at the end of the year. I handled any queries regarding late payment and non-payments. As a side job I sometimes went through and sorted the various CV's that came through. I also worked at The Workforce Group part time from July 2011 - July 2013, while studying my degree. I left The Workforce Group again in 2014 to return to Stellenbosch to finish my degree.
