My interest lies in both understanding better selection methods that organizations can implement, and optimising the workforce environment of current employees. The role had two main functions; tactical preparation of players, and mental development of players to performance in an elite environment.
Tactical:
Implemented a season long strategy that comprised of performance goals for each player and the process on how to achieve each goal.
Regular debriefs with individual players, breaking down relevant data to help inform their game understanding.
Mental development:
Designed and implemented strategies to help players cope with demands of a high pressure environment.
