Patrick is seasoned education and training professional with robust background in enhancing workplace readiness among graduate job seekers. His journey in the field began with him volunteering for the South African Graduate Development Association (SAGDA), where he dedicated himself to preparing inexperienced graduates for the workforce by organizing soft skills programs and coaching candidates for interviews. As a consultant for the Department of Labour, he contributed significantly to the development of a national training strategy initiative that informed the creation of the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and the establishment of Sector Education and Training and Training Authorities (SETA’s). He took on key roles within the Chemical Industries Education and Training Authority (CHIETA) and the Transport Education Training Authority (TETA) as a skills adviser, where he managed skills development initiatives and served as the Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises (SMME) Manager for the Transport sector. In addition to his organisational roles, he has been actively involved in consulting for various organisations focused on business and skills development initiatives, maintaining a strong commitment to supporting learner and employee candidate’s development.
