  • Conducted capacity building projects on democratic governance to support various stakeholders including civil society, political parties, political elites. Select projects are as follows:
  • Developed 5 training manuals on Local Government for the Democracy Works Angola Programme, 2023.
  • Conducted research on Women’s Political Participation in the SADC Region for the SADC Parliamentary Forum, 2023.
  • - Developed 4 Manuals on Women’s Political Participation for the Democracy Works Foundation Botswana Programme, 2021.
  • Developed 6 manuals to prepare Angola political parties for the 2023 Elections for Democracy Works Foundation.
  • Conducted an assessment of Eswatini's 2018 elections with specific focus on the country’s electoral laws, the capacity of the electoral management body and participation of marginalized groups in the electoral process.
  • Conducted an end of project Evaluation for Election Institute of South Africa (EISA) electoral assistance programme in Zimbabwe for the project period 2016-2019, in 2019.
  • - Development of 12 Manuals on political party strengthening for the Southern Africa Political Party capacity development programme for Freedom House and Democracy Works Foundation in 2019.
  • Carried out an end of project evaluation of the Zambia Electoral Information Centre, an OSISA funded project for the 2016 Zambian elections in 2018.
  • Reviewed and enhanced of the NIMD& International IDEA Manual on Inter-Party Dialogue in 2018.
  • Conducted an Impact Evaluation of the SADC Electoral Advisory Council (SEAC). The evaluation was carried out in a sample of 5 SADC countries, notably Lesotho, Madagascar, Mozambique, Tanzania and Seychelles.
  • International Expert –Training and Material Development. designing and development of a Poll watching manual and training programme for the Zambia Centre for Inter-party Dialogue (ZCID) and NIMD British Council/DFID funded joint project in 2016. Project was aimed at developing capacity of political parties in poll watching in preparation for the Zambian 2016
  • Senior Expert, for the capacity building programme of political parties in Tanzania in preparation for the 2015 October national elections. This was for the Netherlands Institute for Multi-party Democracy (NIMD) in a UNDP commissioned project (July-November 2015). In this role I was involved in programme design, gender mainstreaming, developing M&E framework and data collection tools, guiding and supervising the content development process, capacity building of local training experts, supervising roll out of trainings, supervising analysis of M&E data and final report writing.Elections.
