I obtained a BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering with Mineral Processing from North-West University in 2024. During my studies, I gained knowledge in chemical processes, mineral extraction, plant operations, and process optimisation. My focus on mineral processing helped me understand comminution, flotation, leaching, and solid-liquid separation. In addition, I am a qualified boilermaker and have basic knowledge of rigging. I understand how to fabricate, install, and maintain steel structures and piping systems in both underground mining and plant operations. I also know how to use rigging equipment to lift and move heavy machinery safely. I hold a Competent B qualification, which allows me to conduct underground safety inspections, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with mining regulations. My training in Fire Fighting Level 1 and First Aid Level 1 has equipped me with basic emergency response skills. I also have a Foundational Learning Competence (FLC) certificate, which proves my ability to understand workplace communication and numeracy.
