This leadership position that I am currently embarking on is a significant position. It allows me to advocate for student rights and also direct the SRC guiding it's initiatives to be presented to the student body.
The position allows me to assist in concerns on various issues, including academic matters, campus policies, facilities, and student services by advocating for student issues.
This means being actively involved in participating in committees, task forces, or working groups focused on specific issues such as diversity and inclusion, sustainability and campus safety.
Constantly advocating for advocate for student rights, interests, and well-being this includes organizing campaigns of activism to address issues.
Mainly focus on empowering students through the use of social media, educating them on tips to study. This also includes a wider ranger of informing students about academic integrity, academic excellence and academic support through social media.
As an influencer under the department oF Academic Development Centre which includes the writing centre and the learning centre together with psyched , it an important role to make students understand that academic support is widely available to them at all times. Social media also allows us to engage with students and allows us to understand what other support they make need including mental health.
