Since joining the New University construction project, my most significant achievement has been initiating and managing an unemployment database for the Kimberley community, covering various trades in the construction industry—from unskilled to highly skilled workers, as well as apprenticeships and leadership programs. In 2017, I implemented an ABET program for qualifying workers on-site. Additionally, I launched the SMME Incubation Skills Development Training Program, which has successfully trained over 100 SMMEs in the Kimberley community and district. The incubation program has contributed to the growth and success of numerous small businesses and continues to expand.
