Worked as a barista and bartender in a Cape Town restaurant, learning to deliver quality beverages and excellent customer service. Managed orders efficiently and maintained a fast-paced, friendly atmosphere while interacting with diverse customers.

Assisted in customer service tasks for international travelers at a foreign accommodation hotel. Duties included reception and bartending work which forced me into learning Portuguese. This was a great environment to grow my interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated teamwork, communication, and customer service skills while contributing to ski area setup, lift operations, equipment rentals, and guest supervision. Endured challenging conditions, including blizzards and sub-zero temperatures, to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests.

Worked as a host and drink runner at a fine dining restaurant in California, providing high-end customer service. Managed reservations, seating, and beverage delivery while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Developed strong communication skills through diverse clientele interactions.

In my honours year of studies, my thesis required a collaboration with a neuromarketing based company that assisted with the implementation of neuromarketing principles.

As a part of my curriculum modules in my degree. I developed a new product design to be presented to the Lindt headquarters in Cape Town. This was an introduction into project management skill development.
