  • 2024, Found an off-take for 200 tons of spent acid that was treated and processed into non-hazardous products.
  • 2018, Selected to form part of the decommissioning team to Belgium responsible for executing end of life project at the Belgian radioactive source production plant.
  • 2017, Selected to represent the company at the International Youth Nuclear Congress in Nairobi, Kenya after writing a winning proposal that documented the extraction of a high energy, intermediate-life isotope in the waste stream and using the isotope for the development of long-life batteries.
  • 2016, Successfully completed the destruction qualification test for radioactive waste package used for packaging, quantifying and long-term storage of nuclear fission material.
  • 2010, Attended the company Gala dinner and received an award for promoting nuclear waste compliance through facilitating sample collection and analysis. The extrapolated data from the analysis lead to the characterization of a specific waste stream, that was ultimately approved for disposal at the only South African radioactive waste disposal facility in 2012.
  • 2009, Part of the commissioning team for the interim storage facility for concrete decay containers, responsible for the site justification documentation, development of standard operating procedures, cold and hot commissioning and ultimate licensing.
  • 2024, Saved customer over 43% landfill disposal costs through onboarded an alternative supplier that could treat and refine the customer’s waste stream.
