Summary

Obed completed studies in 1986 as an Electrical Engineer at the Vaal University of Technology. Obed did training with Anglo American Platinum (Rustenburg Platinum Mines) till got a certificate of competency. Obed joined AngloGoldAshanti as plant engineer and appointed on the plant upgrade project as construction manager. Obed was appointed as Engineering Manager on the shaft and on the metallurgical plant. Obed joined Read Swatman and Voight as Lead Engineer / Engineering Manager and progressed to Project Manager on few of their projects. Following where some of the experience gained on the job as Engineering Manager and Project Manager: Manage and coach all engineering disciplines for all technical and personnel related manners.
