I am a highly passionate medical officer with interest in public health with a special interest in occupational health. I am hard working, compassionate, diligent and pride myself on having a great work ethic. I take special interest in leaning in innovative ideas that are published with the aims to make the provision of health care better for those who are at risk of poor health. I am also passionate about staying up t date with current literature and ensuing care given is informed by best clinical practice. I am a great team player with leadership qualities that I utilise daily in guiding junior doctors in my current place of employment.
•Admitting patient and continuing patient care while patients admitted
•Managing and stabilising patients with surgical emergencies or trauma patients
•Working in surgical out-patient clinic and wound care. •Performing Surgical procedures and assisting medical seniors with complex surgical procedures
•Teaching students and interns on surgical conditions and overseeing/ doing procedures for all admitted patient. •Doing surgical consults for other disciplines and transferring patients to higher centres when resources are not available for patient care

•5-7 covers in the emergency department monthly where I triage patient, practicing according to hospital and gold standard guidelines which are evidence based.
• I was part of the emergency department where I am part of the first contact, where I am tasked to stabilise the patient and refer then to the correct discipline efficiently. •Ordering of baseline investigations for emergencies such as CT, blood, do bedside emergency sonars, order and administering blood products for unstable patients, managing common emergency that can be treated in casualty such as assault, heamo/pneumothorax, acute psychosis, etc
•Placing of central lines, see patient who are stable and possibly discharging them to local clinic or OPD, work as a team member during resuscitation
•Assisting interns within patient care and observing them when doing emergency procedures in the ED such as CVP, ICD etc as well as attend academic meetings as well as Mortality and morbidity presentations
